We
then went back to Johor Bharu and flew to Bali
where we are now!

We are staying in Kuta which is a
great place with miles of golden sands (quite busy)
and excellent waves for surfing. Had a go yesterday
with a body board, the waves are about 10ft tall (seem
bigger up close!! the water doesnt taste to good
though!).

We took a guided tour of the island with a local who owned a mini bus. He took us to see the
volcano which is north of Kuta and more central in Bali.

We also stopped of at a traditional Hindu temple. 95% of Bali's population are Hindu, whereas
the rest of Indonesia tend to be Muslim.

We also stopped of for a walk around the monkey sanctuary being sure not to carry anything that
resembled food or that the monkeys could snatch.

Also taking a detour I was lucky to see a huge spider in a web hanging between two houses.
I'm not sure if it was dangerous though, I couldn't reach it to find out!
